Heritage Organisations — Data Use & Your Rights

_Last updated: 29 September 2026_

This notice explains what LopoRail holds when you claim or manage a

heritage organisation page, and how to exercise your data rights.

1. What we hold

1.1 The claim you make. When you claim an organisation page you give us

your name and email address, and we record when the claim was made

and a private claim link. For security, the email you enter must match the

address we hold for that organisation.

1.2 Organisation contact details you provide once you manage the page:

organisation name, contact name, contact email, phone number, address and

website.

1.3 Your account link to the organisation you manage, and whether the

page is active.

1.4 Your requests to us — messages and support-queue items you send

matching your email address.

2.1 To let you claim and manage your organisation's page, to correspond

with you about it, and to answer your requests.

2.2 We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

3.1 Organisation records are kept while the page is managed. There is **no

fixed deletion schedule**; you can always ask us to remove them under §4.

3.2 A registration that is rejected is deleted — only approved

organisations remain on record.

3.3 A claim record and its private link stay until the claim is completed or

the data is erased under §4. Support requests are kept only as long as needed

to resolve them, and are removed if you ask us to erase your data.

4.1 You can ask us to export the information we hold about you, and to

erase it, at [email protected]. Our systems support data export and

erasure, so verified requests are actioned without delay.

4.2 When we erase your data we: unlink your account from the organisation;

clear your claim record and the organisation's personal contact details

(contact name, email, phone and address); and remove support requests

matching your email. The organisation's public listing is kept as a

public record, without your personal details.
