Marketplace Shipping Terms
_Last updated: 1 October 2026_
These terms cover how shipping works for items sold through the
LopoRail marketplace ("the Marketplace"). They apply to buyers and
sellers alongside our marketplace fee terms and the broader buyer & seller
terms.
1. How shipping is calculated
1.1 Shipping is calculated by our shipping platform from the parcel's
attributes — its weight and dimensions.
1.2 Sellers must give accurate parcel attributes when listing. Wrong
dimensions or weight can result in an incorrect rate, delay, or a surcharge.
1.3 The shipping cost is shown before checkout. The **buyer pays the
calculated shipping, unless the seller offers free shipping**.
2. Tracked and insured
2.1 Every item ships tracked and insured. The tracking reference is
provided once the item is dispatched.
2.2 The shipment insurance covers loss or damage in transit up to the
insured value.
3. Delivery and confirmation of receipt
3.1 The order is delivered to the buyer's address; the buyer **confirms
receipt** through the Marketplace.
3.2 Confirmation of receipt is what triggers the release of the escrowed
funds to the seller (see our marketplace fee terms).
4. Loss or damage in transit
4.1 If an item is lost or damaged in transit, the insurance covers it. Report
it promptly through the order and to us at [email protected] so a claim
can be made.
4.2 Sellers must package items appropriately and dispatch in the timeframe
shown on the listing.

seller must accept our Marketplace Fee Terms
before a listing can be published._
